Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band Competition 2009

Along Jalan Bukit Bintang, the parade took place in light drizzle. Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band Competition 2009 (KLWMBC) will be held for about 1 week since 12 December 2009. Participated by schools from Malaysia and some from Asia.(Hongkong, Indonesia, Thailand to name a few)

I just use a very simple approach and judgment while framing subjects. If you ever noticed it. Complicated way just adding the tendency to lose your killer touch inside your photo. Simple does not mean, laidback and lazy photography is practiced.

There is no right or wrong in art. All can be opinion and guidance. It's up to you, and use light as medium to convey your message in images taken.

Weekenders in Kuala Lumpur

You can stroll along the KL city, i bet you can find the homeless folks. Some beggars trying to get the 'catch of the day'. Just careful of pick pockets and snatch thieves. This problem occurs along with the development in any developing countries.

I personally think, there are many Philippines, Nepalese, Burmese, Bangladeshi, African (to name a few) in the street. Some of them getting married with this people. They like to come to KL because here they find abundant jobs. Hardly to find any in their origin countries.

Back to Basic

As a symbol of seriousness in photography, i'm collecting all manual film cameras and try to use them where possible as much as i can. It is just a great feeling to feature them in my photography life.

I learn alot with film photography, and yes i encountered many times of wasting of film negatives; due to my error slotting the film into the body. Haha..good experience, by doing it, practice is just the most perfect way to master it. Maybe in 2010, i need to invest for enlarger, a special wet lab just to develop my own film. Black and White film.

I just ignore if someone keep telling me that playing a film camera is wasting money and time (you need to wait for the outcomes). Maybe they just don't really understand what camera is all about. Film photography is something every photographer should at least know about. There is no point being a great digital photographer but don't have any ideas about the origin and evolution in tradisional photography approach to digital tech.

it's fun. try and error is super fun. getting a great image from film camera is totally undescribable how fun it is!
