Sunrise

These are my shots during the sunrise at the last day of my trip to Perhentian Island. Around 645am, woke up and rushed to the shore just to capture the moment and feel the fresh sea breeze. So peaceful !

The night life here was great. To those who like to party, feel free to drop at any restaurant and the best i've heard so far is Panorama. In Perhentian Kecil, around 90 % beach-lover came from Europe, Latin and Asia.

Around 10am in the morning they will sunbath themselves under the soaring heat. I myself definitely cannot stand under the sun without any shades. I was fascinated by the view of the blue water at the sea. The sound of the wave is like a romantic song filling the journals of a traveller like me

Perhentian Kecil Part 1

Been away to Perhentian Island on a personal trip for 3 days. Here i will share my experience throughout the days with photos; on land or underwater.
Really nice island in Peninsular Malaysia i guess.

The journey started from Kerteh-Kuala Terengganu-Kuala Besut-Perhentian Island. Arrived at the jetty around 515pm and it was my luckiest day and got the chance to ride on the last boat of the day. It took about 45 minutes ride and believe me it was so uncomfortable, the current was really strong resulting the bumpy-butt syndrome till arrived onshore.

I rushed for the room as it started to get dark and night time will come. I stayed in Perhentian Kecil (small island) at Matahari Chalet for RM 90/night and the room is equipped with internal toilet, air-conditioner, fan, closet and two single beds. The retreat is from 7pm-7am and it is best to sit at the beach while waiting for the sunset.

The atmosphere at the beach was quite happening around 7pm. According to some internet reviews regarding the beach life in Long Beach, it is the best and the most happening place at Perhentian Kecil. I personally agree with that.

this morning woke up so early..530am
last night went to sleept around 8pm
the weather around Kerteh is not at its best condition
some plants are doing open venting of waste
hence, the immediate effect is some sorts of flue and sniffing syndrome
as happened to myself
that was the main reason
i wanted to take the rest as early as the last 2 nights

the morning around Paka just like the normal east coast fishermen village
here, the best place to hang out having cups of coffee surely at Kopitiams
not saying any of those is the best, but 'boleh tahan' rather than nothing
but the price of 'makan-makan' at the food shop is so unexceptional
plain rice RM 1.50 ? dare you..

but to enjoy the 'kepok lekor' here is a must
the quality of fish is 100%

Sunrise in Kerteh

The sunrise in the East Coast of Malaysia is really stunning between March-July. I got the chance to feel it after earn and living here for almost 3 years. Something that shouldn't be missed out. The best time to come and enjoy the rise of sun is from 630am-7am. The sky is blue and yellowish cloud produce a perfect natural colour blending.

"Mencandat Sotong" or Catching cuttlefish season using a special equipment has just started here. RM 200 for the entire night package catching the cuttlefish is quite cheap i thinka and really worthy.

The design concept more or less like Bali. Seriously 1 night stay at The Aryani Resort was so wonderful. Hope to make a return to here one day InsyaAllah
