The Ancestor
Untong Udin, was born in 1915 in Simanggang (now Sri Aman). He is the last from 12 siblings that still alive. The 94 year old, still looking great and going strong. I had the opportunity of photographing him.

Homeless : Kuala Lumpur
Homeless people in Kuala Lumpur
Alhamdulillah
The tracking of these folks showing some improvement, managed to get few shots of them at the place they called 'home'. Their origin is still clueless.
They're homeless due to economic downturn phase that affected entire global. Retrenchment is the the quick answer to reflect this homeless phenomena, no work and no money. It is like a chain reaction from a source and the end party will suffer.
In addition, some still got families but why are they neglected and end up sleeping in the street.
These homeless folks in the state of depression (emo), they have no intention to do things to help themselves. They probably see no future in their life anymore and just to float around and surviving on foods handed down to them.
The next assignment is the UNCOVERED STORIES BEHIND CHEAP BUDGET HOTELS (1st Photo)

Bundle Shop
Bundle Shop known as one stop center for branded-used-clothing. If you go Kelantan, make sure you don't miss it. It's like thousand of t shirts, jeans, boxers and many more apparels. Sometimes, you can find such expensive brand like REPLAY jeans there, the shoes and sandals also offering very wide range of varieties such as NIKE AIR FORCE, TIMBERLAND and the material are good compared to the latest model in the store.
I do find these shops whenever i got chance to travel or on assignment. Frankly, it's worth buying the items and still look good to wear. You have the right to choose and up to your taste.
The price? it's cheap enough, RM 5 for t-shirt !

Bali
A dozen of films i brought to Bali, every moment each new thing that i saw will be in the frames. The Balinese embraced Hindu, the main religion in the island.
The best part was the dinner at Jimbaran, by the sea watching the night flights flew through the air space from and to Ngurah Rai Airport. The seafood really fresh as you can choose them from the aquarium. Sweet sour grouper Bali style completed my day after a tiring journey from Nusa Dua to Uluwatu.
Thanks to Pak Wayan (driver & tour guide), for his stories, helped me understand the culture and the people there. Next trip, surely I will call you again Pak Wayan. He kept saying " we're no strangers, we're friends, the same root, nusantara "

Abandon
Abandon construction sites in Kuala Lumpur, it is not that hard to find one. Perhaps, as a result of downturn economic phase, the property projects need to be halted for some moment.
World crude oil price at USD 74 per barrel *
* subject to change in the matter of time
SILK ROAD 2010
I'm planning to be there for 20 days (quite long), somehow still doing surveys and research regarding the costing, food, culture, clean water, transportation. The journey will start from the south heading up towards north.
